Waikiki Trans Transportation Service Review

This transportation service should not be in business. Customer Service is the WORST ever. This is one transportation service that I will not recommend to anyone. Why bother following the instructions sent in an email and nobody bother to asked. Worst service ever.

Waikiki trans never showed up at the airport to pick us up...and also missed picking us up from the hotel to the airport. Called 3 times to book pickup times and even got a confirmation email from them. But both times they never showed. Book with a different shuttle service that more reliable. Will never use them again.

We called the day before we were ready to leave to be picked up at the Illiki at 5PM the next day at the Illiki. We waited until 5:30 and they never showed.

We called and they said they weren't coming. They said they had called but we never received a call. We had to get a taxi at a cost of $43.00(one way to the airport)

When we called to discuss exactly what happened the girl would not listed to our complaint and she said we were disrespectful which was certainly not the case.

She also said they did pick us up which they did not. We are polite people and don't understand her attitude.

I do not recommend these people.

They are so *** bad. Honestly they said they will be here at 8:15 pm. Yet thwy are not here yet. My family has an international flight back to Canada and are they going to pay for this flight NO! Stay away from this company, and yet when they brought us to our hotel, our driver was high as ***. Please stay away from this god awful company.

I experienced exact same pattern with lovely Mia and told her she would hear from me! I invite all pissed consumers to get together and have this company out of business and have Mia banned from having another job. I will start a more organized complaint to USA tourism office when back home as I am writing this while waiting for another reliable Shuttle company!!!

We were scheduled to go to the flea market sat outside our hotel for 20 mins and they never showed. When we called and the lady sounded drunk and kept saying it's canceled and couldn't give us a reason why.

Waikiki Trans was late to pick me up from the Honolulu airport after calling their customer service two different times when I landed. They were even given my flight info in advance. 3 days later when I was ready for pick up, I called that morning to confirm my reservation for pick up. The lady on the phone confirmed and agreed to tell the driver to pick me up from a specific hotel in Waikiki. At 2:45pm (scheduled time of pickup), I called again to check in and a man with an accent answered the phone. I asked if the driver was coming and he said he would call to send someone. I started to tell him I had already called earlier to confirm and now would be late for my flight. He said he didn't like the tone of my voice and hung up. I called again and he hung up. At that point, my hotel called me a cab. very unprofessional.

Waikiki Trans is a RORT. We arranged for a pickup to the airport and paid for the service way in advanced. Confirmed pickup and scheduled to take us to the airport. The liars did not attend. Each time we called to see where the driver was Mia will lie andale up an excuse. Different excuses each time. Then some other *** will say something ridiculous and lie as well. They lied about the driver picking up a passenger with my name as we waited 30 mins. We paid in advanced and want our refund. Eventually had to pay for a cab otherwise we would have missed our international flight which left us out of pocket. After chasing up I was told that a refund was to be posted. More *** lies. I am still waiting. I will continue to follow up until I get my money back you thieving bastards.

Paid in advance for a return trip from our shopping day & no show. Was given a doggy lift from another company that alleged our driver was caught in traffic.

***. Rang to complain & received some defensive comment about rubbish. Asked to speak to the manager & was refused. Girl also refused to give me her name.

Cheap transport but not reliable at all. DONT be tricked like we were having to wait well passed our pick up time to get home.

I scheduled a pickup by email one and half week in advance. On pickup day, I called them to reconfirm the pickup for 7 PM. We went to the driveway to wait for the shuttle 6:30 PM. No shuttle came; call their office at 7:15 to inquired 3 times, and each they said the shuttle should have been there and hang up on me. The last answer was that we were a no show. Have to hail a taxi to get to the airport on time. Outrageous company that has no respect for their customers and they should have their permit taken away.

Booked transport online from Australia. Transfer from Honolulu airport to Waikiki hotel was fine. Called night before leaving to confirm 6am pickup. Called company twice in next 45 mins - got message - no-one staffing the phones. No answering machine to leave a message. We made emergency arrangements via a reliable shuttle company, which cost us $23. Why didn't we pay the extra $3 and go with them the first time? We made our flight in time, thank goodness. Got home and emailed a complaint and bill for returning the $20 they owed us. No response. Will now lodge formal complaint Honolulu PD (fraud section)

We had booked a pickup from the Hilton Prince Kuhio at 5am on the morning of our flight. By 5:15am, no shuttle. Tried to call them but after listening to music for about 20 seconds, the call was diverted to voicemail. By 5:25am we were getting ready to book a taxi until another shuttle company (VIP Trans) arrived to pick up another guest at our hotel. We asked if he could take us to the airport and we would pay him instead as Waikiki Trans had not showed up. He agreed and helped us get all our luggage onto his shuttle. DO NOT USE WAIKIKI TRANS!

our reservation was at 6:00pm. At 6:10 - no show. We called and they said the driver was on his way. At 6:20 - once again...no show. We called again and got the same response. At 6:30 - no show. We called and got a same response. At 6:45 - still no show, this time they told us not to bother to call them and ended up with the word "F_ _ K You!". We had no choice but to call a cab. We barely made it in time for our departure. Do not use them if you don't want to miss your flight!

I scheduled the service for 8:30pm. They called at 7:45pm to move my time up but I was unable to answer the phone because I was doing a check out. I called back at 7:55pm and they told me it was to late they had already passed my location. Someone at the front desk tried to call and ask what had happened when the lady at waikiki trans started to yell at the person trying to help me. Please DO NOT use this service!! very rude unorganized company. They are always late or changing the time and then just not showing up. Not only did I have to book a taxi for $60 but I was also running late to get to the airport because they messed everything up.

I called 2 hours before we needed to leave for the airport. We were standing outside 10 minutes before we were supposed to be picked up. 10 minutes after we were supposed to be picked up I called and they said we weren't there. I asked if they could come back or send another van, the man on the phone said no and hung up on me. On the way to the airport in a taxi I called the company, spoke to a women and explained what happened. She didn't seem to care. I told her that I would go on line and leave a complaint for them if her manager didn't call within the week. It has been 2 weeks. This company hand's out $8 airport shuttle coupons on the street, they don't care about the customers or service, it is just a numbers game for them. Fortunately we had plenty of time to get to the airport, others might not be so lucky and be stuck in a really bad spot.

driver arrived 15 minutes late and said he couldn't take us to the airport because we had too much luggage & a dog even though i called the day before and told them about the dog & they said it would be okay so he finally transferred us to another shuttle at the hilton hotel which was full and h e had to put our luggage on the seats. the first shuttle was completely empty so i don't know why he refused to take us. this all happened in april 2011. i would never use this shuttle again. they hand out $7 coupons in front of the wailANA restaurant on ala moana blvd every day.

Yep. The same thing happened to us earlier this month.

Each time we called to see where the driver was they made some *** excuse. My wife being 6 months pregnant and I waited outside the hotel and no one arrived.

Mia and co you are a scamming rorting *** company and hope someone gets you back for the fraud you are doing.

I called at 10 PM on a Wednesday night and scheduled a pick-up for 2 people at the Aston Waikiki Circle Hotel to go to the airport the following morning at 9 AM. We waited until 9:15 AM for the van to arrive, but no one showed up. So I called the same phone number 808- 544-****. It rang about 12 times before someone finally answered. The woman who answered knew nothing about our scheduled pick-up. She called a man over the radio, but he know nothing about the scheduled pick-up either. They asked if I had a reservation and if I did, when did I make it. They were still clueless after I gave them the requested information. At this point, I didn't have time for them to figure things out. Ww wound up having to take a cab.
